Pete Monaghan is a contemporary artist specialising in paintings of vernacular architecture. In 2022 he was invited to produce a print for Aberystwyth printmakers, this was his first stone lithograph. He found drawing on an ultra smooth stone surface with wax-like crayon and ink (tusche) to be not dissimilar to techniques used in his paintings. A second lithograph edition has since followed.
